Sedum Rubrotinctum “Pork and Beans” ( Bare Rooted)
Sedum Rubrotinctum is a lovely succulent that is highly valued for its plump, colourful leaves that require little upkeep. This beautiful and unique succulent is sometimes known as the Pork and Beans or Jelly Bean Plant. The tiny, plump, cylindrical leaves of Sedum Rubrotinctum have an appearance similar to jelly beans. The leaves contrast sharply because they are bright green in the sun and turn red or golden at the tips. This succulent is good for ground cover or arrangements in containers since it grows to a height of 6 to 8 inches and can spread to make dense, beautiful mats. Because of its trailing growth pattern, it's perfect for use as a spiller in mixed succulent pots, hanging baskets, and rock gardens.
To grow this succulent, use a soil mix that drains effectively. Make sure there are drainage holes in the container to avoid water logging because it can damage the plant roots. Use water sparingly, allowing the soil to become dry in between water applications. Sedum Rubrotinctum prefers sunny, diffused sunlight, with a hint of direct light bringing out the red tips.
Because of its small size and vivid colours, Sedum Rubrotinctum is ideal for windowsills, tables, or shelves. Perfect for adding a pop of colour because of its trailing nature. Excellent for producing low-maintenance, aesthetically pleasing ground cover. Sedum Rubrotinctum is a great addition to any succulent collection because of its eye-catching, vibrant foliage, low maintenance requirements, and adaptability.
